In a recent episode of Eric Newcomer's "Cerebral Valley Podcast," venture capitalist Khosla made some predictions on what AI could look like in the near future. The 68-year-old billionaire said given AI's impressive capabilities, "I do think in 10 years we'll have free doctors, free tutors for everybody, and free lawyers so they can access the legal system." That comes as OPEC+ concluded its latest meeting where members pledged voluntary production cuts without giving firm commitments, prompting oil prices to fall.  "We've more or less been saying potentially Saudi needs to just flush this thing out," Paul Sankey from Sankey Research told CNBC on Friday. Continued here � � � � � � Admit It, the Cybertruck Is Awesome - The Atlantic    Of the many quirks of Elon Musk’s Cybertruck, the Cybertruckiest of them all might be this: its windshield wiper. Not wipers, wiper. Tesla’s electric pickup, which debuted today and starts at $61,000, has just a single gigantic rain-wicking blade—a monstrosity that stretches several feet and that Musk says is “like a katana.” (The original idea, laser-beam wipers, apparently didn’t work.) Nothing about the wiper or, frankly, about the Cybertruck makes much sense. It is a subzero fridge on wheels, a chef’s knife that went on the supersize-me diet and gained thousands of pounds. Tesla’s long-awaited model, its first entirely new one in four years, has a bullet- and arrow-proof exoskeleton, but it apparently struggles to climb up a dirt hill. The car is capable of pulling “near infinite mass” (according to earlier Tesla marketing) and can “serve briefly as a boat” (according to Musk), but its angular design means that even tiny manufacturing flaws stick out “like a sore thumb” (again, according to Musk). Frankly, it is an impractical meme car for an impractical meme CEO—the perfect vehicle for the edgelord X magnate. “This car is very amateurish,” Adrian Clarke, a former car designer for Land Rover and a writer for the Autopian, told me. But at least it’s different. Most other EVs can’t say as much, even though the electric age can and should be a chance to make cars not just harder, faster, stronger, and better, but also stranger. Continued here � � � � � � A Swiss Home So Well Designed It Needs Just One Door -     Thanks to a series of pivoting panels, the Geneva apartment can be reconfigured for remote work or parties: “We only have one door, and that’s our front door.” As their careers took them to various cities in Europe, the United States and Asia, Stef Claes and Michiel De Meulemeester, who are both Belgian, were used to leasing whatever lackluster apartments they could find. But when Mr. Claes, an architect, and Mr. De Meulemeester, a business executive who manages Mr. Claes’s firm, settled down in Geneva, they began thinking about creating a more appealing home. After leaving Paris, where they had a 320-square-foot apartment, “we lived, for the first five years, in a rental,” said Mr. De Meulemeester, 37. “In Geneva, our apartment was two-and-a-half times as big, so we felt like kings.
